MOME Overview

MOME was a coordination action in the Information Society Technologies (IST) Programme of the European Union that offered a platform for knowledge and tool exchange, and for coordinating activities in the field of IP monitoring and measurement between IST projects and other European partners. The platform provides information on the interoperability of monitoring and measurement tools, as well as measurement data in a common format.

The project was organised in two main phases. While the first year is dedicated to gathering information about projects and tools as well as infrastructure set-up, the second year was the main period for data collection and analysis.

The MOME project concluded on 31 March 2006, although the MOME database is still maintained.

The 2nd International Workshop on Inter-Domain Performance and Simulation (IPS 2004), 22-23 March 2004, Budapest, Hungary was hosted by the Dept. of Telecommunications and Media Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

The General Co-Chair and the Technical Programme Committee Chair was Attila Vidács.
