Since 2005 Ericsson has been running a Graduate program to secure the future supply of leadership candidates within the R&D organization to ensure that there will be future managers, project managers and technical leaders within the R&D organization.

There will be 17 new R&D trainees in the global program starting in 2010 – three of them from Hungary. All applicants will have to meet common selection criteria.

The target group is:

  • recent graduates (max. 18 months working experience after graduation)
  • with a Master of Science degree in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology (preferably with specialization in telecommunication),
  • genuine interest in Ericsson and R&D
  • and a potential to become future leaders.

The program starts in September 2010, will take around 18 months to complete and is divided into Five modules:

  • 4 weeks introduction to Ericsson in Sweden
  • 5 months introduction and working in the Home Unit in Hungary
  • 4 months Project work and Human/Leadership Competence training in Sweden
  • 6 months International Assignment
  • 2 weeks finalization of the program in Sweden
