The Cloud Robotics team of HSN Lab, led by Attila Vidács, won the first prize ($10,000) at the ARIAC 2020 competition organized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Rolland Vida, Head of HSN Lab, serves as General Co-Chair of IEEE ISC2 2020

Rolland Vida, Head of HSN Lab, serves as General Co-Chair of the 6th IEEE International Smart Cities Conference (IEEE ISC2 2020), themed „Smart Cities Solutions for New Challenges, Including a Pandemic”. The conference will be organised as a virtual event, between September 28 and October 1. Submissions are expected in traditional topics across broad application and functional domains, within the context of smart urban infrastructure systems. The submission deadline is July 1st, 2020.

HSN Lab involved in organizing IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2020

May 1st, 2020

The IEEE/IFIP Network Operation and Managent Symposium (NOMS) 2020 was successfuly held between April 20-24, producing a recordbreaking paticipation. Initially planned to be held in Budapest, the conference was later turned into a virtual event, due to the pandemic. Representatives of HSN Lab were involved int he Organizing Committee – Rolland Vida served as Tutorials Co-Chair, while Csaba Simon served as Posters Co-Chair.
